Before I found lewis I was in a bad way. It never crossed my mind how much damage I was doing to my body with the lack of sleep, excessive drinking and eating whatever I liked. I was forever down about the way I looked and constantly feeling tired all the time.
I found lewis to be incredibly human which is something that has been lacking from other personal trainers or fitness coaches I’ve dealt with in the past. He was understanding of my struggles and real world issues that would affect my training or diet.
I found the coaching perfect for what I was after. It wasn’t too intrusive. I didn’t get shouted at or made to feel guilty for missing the odd training session or slipping into old habits with my food. Instead, he helped me understand why it had happened, and gave me the tools to succeed not just during the coaching, but after as well. I now have a much better understanding of what my body needs and how I can progress further still.
Before I lacked energy and motivation and I had little knowledge of how to look after myself. I now feel like a new person. I now enjoy going to the gym, and know what I actually need to do there. I know how to manage my food, and I feel amazing for it. My motivation and energy is back to levels I thought were long gone and that’s all thanks to Lewis.
I would 100% recommend lewis to anyone. I struggled with anxiety quite a bit and knew this sort of coaching would be suited to me. I didn’t want someone screaming at me at the gym to push harder or diet more, I needed guidance and to go at my own pace. Lewis provided that and I will definitely use him in the future if I ever need that push again!
