Do I need a gym membership?

It would be beneficial to have one for sure, however it’s not absolutely essential. You can still make great progress with home workouts, although you’d need some very basic equipment like resistance bands and / or adjustable dumbbells.

Do I already need to be mega fit?

No! It’s my job to meet you where you’re currently at, then guide you to your goals. This means that no matter what your starting point is, you’ll benefit from coaching.

I don’t live in the UK, will coaching still work for me?

Yes, absolutely! As long as you have access to the internet and a smartphone, you’re all set!

Will this fit my busy lifestyle?

100%. Everything is built around you and your lifestyle. My coaching is designed to be fully flexible, so no matter how busy you are we can make it work.

Is there a contract?

Yes. The minimum amount of time I’ll work with anybody for is 6 months. The reason being is that from experience, any less than that won’t be long enough to unlearn any previous bad habits you may have picked up, as well as cement new ones. However, most clients end up working with me for over 9 months. Life-changing takes time!

When can I start?

Your Welcome Week starts right from the second you pay. You’ll be sent a link to Member’s Area of the website, and your full plan will be delivered within 7 calendar days.

Mindset mastery using our Self-awareness System

I’ll be honest, the word “Mindset” makes my roll my eyes a little. It’s the current industry buzzword, and everyone is a “mindset coach” these days. Having said that, this is arguably the most important aspect of what I do. It’s why I invest so much of my own time and money into working with my own coaches and mentors, and why I developed the Self-awareness System. Without a solid mindset everything else falls to pieces. Think of it as the foundations that any transformation is built on top of. I could sit and talk about this all day, and what you “get” with my coaching, but basically this is what you need to know:

I’m one of only 36 coaches in the world qualified in Transformational Coaching, and am the current holder of the Coach Of The Year title. The Self-awareness System is the thing that I’m most proud of in my coaching. By the end of this process you’ll have full autonomy, and be confident in making decisions that align with your own values in any given situation.

Full Food Freedom

Food. I absolutely love food, and I’d bet that you do too. Food is meant to be enjoyed, so I won’t be forcing the typical boring “chicken, broccoli, and rice out of a Tupperware” on you. As with every aspect of my coaching, the approach we take depends entirely on you. Whether it’s an initial meal plan, flexible food goals, full food diary reviews, or anything in between, it will all be based around foods that you love and already eat on a daily basis. You’re not “going on a diet”, you already HAVE a diet, we just need to make it work for you. I can guarantee you that you won’t have to give up any of the things that you love. In fact, I’ll be encouraging you to eat them on a daily basis. That’s how we’ll achieve Full Food Freedom.

Transformational Training System

Movement. Exercise. Call it whatever you want to. For me, the perfect training programme is the right balance of the things that you love, and the things that you need. Whether you’re completely new to exercise, or you already fairly active, we’ll focus on your starting point and take things from there. I won’t be forcing you into spending 6 days per week in the gym, just like I won’t be forcing you to run a 10k every other day. I’ll work with you to tailor-make you a programme that will guarantee you the maximum amount of progress, in the most enjoyable way possible.

Education

This is another biggie. I reckon you all know somebody that’s made AMAZING progress in one or more areas of their life, only to end up right back at square one. That person might even be you. From experience, a lot of that comes down to education. Anybody can follow instructions on “what” to do, but it takes a certain type of person that’s invested enough to learn the “why” and the “how”. I make sure to take the time to teach the ins and outs of everything we do, with the hopes that you can continue to apply everything you’ve learned when our time together is done. If you have a question, and want to know how to apply the knowledge to your own circumstances, ask away!

I wanted to create a service that truly has everything that you could ever need to be successful in achieving your goals. I used to half-jokingly say “the only you way that you don’t succeed here is if you just run away and avoid me.” After a bit of further thought, I came up with a way to minimise the chances of even THAT from happening…

Anthony is one of our many success stories at Body & Brain, and during his time with us he became a crucial part of the client group. He was always amongst the first to give people a helping hand, support them when they needed it, and to celebrate their wins with them. The change in him as a person was nothing short of inspiring, and he was excellent at inspiring and motivating his peers. It was only right that I made him a permanent part of the team!

His role is simple, but crucial. He’ll check in with you daily to make sure that things are going well, and that you’ve got everything that you need. He’ll also be checking on the things that you need to do to achieve your goals (your food diary, your activity levels, training sessions, and daily habits) and be there to give you a nudge in the right direction / pat on the back.

This means that you’ve not just got one person in your corner at all times, but two (as well as the rest of the client group). Your best interests and success are our only concern, we’ve got your back.

Before I found Lewis I was in a bad way. It never crossed my mind how much damage I was doing to my body with the lack of sleep, excessive drinking and eating whatever I liked. I was forever down about the way I looked and constantly feeling tired all the time.

I found lewis to be incredibly human which is something that has been lacking from other personal trainers or fitness coaches I’ve dealt with in the past. He was understanding of my struggles and real world issues that would affect my training or diet.

I found the coaching perfect for what I was after. It wasn’t too intrusive. Before I started working with Lewis, I had no idea quite how out of shape I was. I already had began losing weight when I signed up for the first time; having gone from 210lbs to around 185lbs. However, I’d noticed my improvements had plateaued so reached out to him for help. Not only did he help me lose significantly more weight, but he taught me exactly how to lose weight.
